Do you mix your black paints or use a lot of Mars Black?

Usually I just use black paint. I just watched a YouTube video on mixing black paint, though, and the guy said, “Hey, don’t use black paint. Mix your black paints, goddamnit.” So I guess I should stop doing that. I didn’t know how to mix black paint before, because I never studied art except for some classes in high school, and I wasn’t paying very much attention back then because I was an idiot who already knew everything. So thank you for your question because it made me finally look up how to mix black paint, which is good since all of my paintings are basically big canvases of black paint which I then put some other colors into so that people don’t laugh at me when I say they cost money.
